Instilling the Maker Mindset

STEAM-STEM-Innovation-Makerspace, call it what you may. The maker mindset brings coding, robotics and the foundational STEM skills to all students from a very young age. Students will experience STEM through multiple zones for learning, exploring, creating and innovating.

STEM

Introducing STEAM, STEM and Makerspaces to each school throughout the district, starting at Kindergarten, right on through High School. Though the spaces are tailored to reflect and support each grouping of students, there are many consistent zones including a general work zone, fabrication zone, formal and informal gathering, abundance of storage, multiple instruction walls and flexible furniture to support moving from one learning and exploring mode to another.
