Reinvigorating Athletics

Albany High School Pool

Albany, New York

A Clean, Fresh New Look

Work included the installation of clerestory glass, new ceramic floor tiling, acoustic paneling, glass railings for an unobstructed view from the second-floor bleachers in the spectator area, and new pool equipment and signage.

Infrastructure improvements included the complete replacement of the HVAC system with integral dehumidification to create a more comfortable environment for spectators. New steel replaced corroded steel members due to high humidity conditions, and new energy efficient LED lighting creates a bright environment with low energy costs. In addition to renovations, a new building addition houses and separates the filtration and chlorination systems from the main pool area.
