Congratulations North Shore Schools!
A superintendent once told me that superintendency is more than just a job, it is a lifestyle. Having spent the better course of my career working with superintendents across the state, I’ve witnessed this first hand. On top of running a district with an entire community in mind, superintendents lead the efforts in capital project planning and bond referendums. Last week, North Shore Central School District passed a $39.9M bond with the backing of nearly 2:1 of its community. This milestone is no small task; it comes with much hard work and thick skin. With the support of the Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Giarrizzo led this endeavor with vigor, positivity and clarity, disseminating information while rallying his community.
